Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming
shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and operate various equipment such as forklifts, Cherry Pickers, pallet jacks and
especially Standup trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting our warehouse and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
  systems (WMS)
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, especially Standup trucks and other material handling equipment
  equipment safely to load and unload goods
• Stock received items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization for orders
  fulfillment
• Prepare items for order picking, packing, and shipping processes, including order picking and
  packing tasks
• Maintain accurate inventory records through effective use of warehouse management systems
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to support order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and
  distribution activities
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all handling and storage activities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, or related roles
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners
• Experience operating forklifts, especially stand-up trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (previous certification)
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and verifying shipment quantities
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, including order picking & packing
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety standards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse setting

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

 

Compensation is dependent on applicable experience and competencies
