The Opportunity 

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist to launch and lead our new diagnostic service line for children ages 1 to 12 years. This role is ideal for someone who is both clinically excellent and creatively driven—someone who thrives in building new programs, shaping systems, and delivering meaningful impact to children and families. 

You will not only conduct autism diagnostic evaluations, you will also play a key leadership role in designing and developing a best-in-class diagnostic program that reflects our values and mission that can be expanded to additional diagnostic team members. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Perform gold-standard autism diagnostic evaluations (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R) and developmental assessments 
  • Deliver clear, compassionate feedback and comprehensive reports to caregivers and referral sources 
  • Lead the design and implementation of workflows, documentation practices, and service delivery models for the diagnostic program 
  • Collaborate with intake, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration with ABA services 
  • Foster a culture of excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement, keeping our services aligned with best practices and family needs 
  • Provide mentorship and help shape a growing team of diagnostic professionals 
  • Center joy, empathy, and inclusion in every family interaction and team collaboration 

What You Bring: 

  • Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program 
  • Active (or license-eligible) Clinical Psychologist license in Illinois 
  • 3+ years of experience conducting autism assessments with young children, including toddlers 
  • Extensive knowledge of DSM-5 
  • Expertise with tools such as the ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS, GARS-2, Vineland-3, and SRS-2 
  • Excellent report-writing, communication, interpersonal, and team skills 
  • Demonstrated success in building or contributing to new clinical programs or services leveraging effective organizational, time management & prioritization skills to shape their design
