
Center Support Lead - After School - Lake in the Hills
The Place For Children with Autism was established with one goal in mind, to enrich the lives of children on the autism spectrum. Utilizing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy in a center-based environment, we design an individualized program for children ages 2-6 years to fit their needs and prepare them for successful transition to elementary school and beyond.
The Center Support Lead provides direct, on-ground clinical support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and clients in the After-School Program. Acting as a direct extension of the supervising clinician, the Center Support Lead frequently carries out clinical directives and supports the consistent implementation of treatment plans. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, clinical competency, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for both staff and clients.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide on-site clinical support and guidance to R/BTs during therapy sessions
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new behavior technicians and provide ongoing development and coaching
- Ensure therapy materials and session supplies are organized and readily available
- Deliver in-the-moment feedback to staff to promote high levels of client engagement and skill acquisition
- Help maintain a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for all clients and staff.
- Model and demonstrate core principles of (ABA) with fluency and professionalism
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings
- Represent The Place for Children with Autism in a positive and enthusiastic way to all internal and external stakeholders
- Adhere and follow through on established protocols and procedure including all safety regulations

What Makes You Shine:
- RBT Certification
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to twenty pounds, bend at the knee and squat for up to one hour per day, and ability to follow a child without restriction throughout the center, sometimes at a rapid pace, to contain elopement behaviors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A compassionate attitude and a sense of purpose in helping others
- Strong Developing Leadership Skills
- A desire to grow within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
