At The Place for Children with Autism, we’re more than a therapy center—we’re a team committed to helping children with autism thrive. As a Center Support Coordinator, you’ll play a key dual role combining administrative coordination with hands-on clinical support to help ensure the success of our After School Program. 

This position oversees day-to-day program operations including scheduling, billing coordination, payroll support, and family/staff communication, while also providing direct on-site support to clinical teams. You’ll act as an extension of the supervising clinician, supporting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through onboarding, training, and in-the-moment coaching to ensure high-quality, consistent care. 

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, child-centered environment, enjoys both operational structure and clinical engagement, and is energized by supporting both people and processes. This full-time position reports to the After School Program Director. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Oversee daily administrative operations for the After School Program, including staff/client scheduling, coordination of program supplies, and maintenance of accurate physical and electronic records  
  • Process and support billing audits, attendance tracking, timekeeping, and payroll-related administration  
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures, documentation standards, and safety protocols  
  • Maintain organized, well-resourced therapy environments that support effective service delivery 
  • Serve as a central point of contact for families, staff, and leadership regarding scheduling, updates, and program needs  
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to support a positive and responsive family experience  
  • Represent The Place for Children with Autism with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm in all interactions 
  • Provide on-site support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) during therapy sessions  
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of new and developing staff  
  • Deliver real-time feedback and modeling to support treatment fidelity and client engagement  
  • Support implementation of treatment plans under the direction of supervising clinicians  
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings 
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for all clients and staff  
  • Model core Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles with professionalism and consistency  
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on learning, growth, and child success 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  •  High School Diploma or GED required  
  • Active RBT certification required  
  • At least 18 years of age  
  • Experience working with children or enrollment in a child-related education program strongly preferred  
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)  
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry systems  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and meet deadlines  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities  
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance; ability to travel between clinic sites as needed  
  • Energetic, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to punctuality, learning, and feedback 
  • Ability to actively engage with children in a therapeutic environment, including sitting on the floor, standing, squatting, bending, and moving throughout the day  
  • Ability to safely manage and respond to client behaviors when needed, including quick movement (e.g., walking/running short distances)  
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 30 lbs in emergency or care-related situations  
  • Sustained physical activity throughout the workday required 

 

Competitive Pay
