Therapy in Motion was created in 1992, and has the reputation of establishing innovative, outpatient physical therapy clinics that cater to the individual needs of all patients.

Therapy In Motion, founded on the commitment to excellence, believes in the importance of providing comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment in an environment that is conducive to both personal and professional patient care. Offering hands-on manual therapy, therapists assist patients in their efforts to return to fully functioning pain-free lifestyles. Therapists utilize a team approach to maximize the well being of patients. The relationship between the therapist and patient is the cornerstone of our successful outcomes. We emphasize the importance of ongoing communication with the patient, therapist, and the referring physician. In addition, patients rehabilitation goals are incorporated into the development of an individualized plan of care. Patient satisfaction is one of our top priorities.

Therapy In Motion’s reputation for offering premiere teaching facilities has resulted in a collaboration with over 30 physical therapy university programs from throughout the nation. Therapy In Motion and the staff has received many state and regional awards for offering excellence in clinical education.

Many physicians have ownership in physical therapy clinics, and therefore refer their patients to these clinics. However, patients have the legal right to select a physical therapist of their choice after receiving a referral from their health care provider.

Physical therapists can legally evaluate and treat most patients without a referral. However some insurances such as Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma require a referral for insurance reimbursement. Physicians, dentists, chiropractors, podiatrists, and physician’s assistants all commonly refer patients to physical therapy.
