Account Coordinator
The Refinery is an award-winning entertainment advertising agency based out of Los Angeles, CA. We work with all of the major studios producing social, digital, and print creative campaigns for theatrical, television & streamer clients.

Enough about us, here’s what we’re looking for:
Responsibilities:
- You will work directly with an internal creative team to coordinate projects for film and streaming
- Report to the VP Creative Services and Accounts team members
- Manage and organize client assets and deliverables on an internal server
- Assist in cross-department requests with Production, Finishing, and Photo teams
- Schedule internal and external creative kick-offs and reviews
- Participate in internal and external kickoff meetings to ensure accurate recording of notes
- Utilize project management tools and messaging services to distribute client notes
- Upload final deliverables to client-specific locations, as required
- Assist in organizing presentations for delivery
- Assist in QCing all deliverables before they leave the agency, including proofreading all typography, comp numbering, and final deliverables
- Assist in managing and scheduling creative staff
- Assist in scheduling and onboarding freelancers
- Assist in ensuring final deliverables are cataloged on company Google Drive, website, and submitted for industry awards
- Serve as backup for the Accounts team after hours and during vacations, occasionally handling client-facing tasks like sending presentations and distributing notes to the team
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in a project management role
- Confident communicator who’s comfortable interfacing with multiple art directors and contributing within a fast-paced creative team
- A collaborative, personable, and positive approach to work both internally and with clients
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Willingness to adapt your schedule to meet project needs
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to be proactive and self-sufficient in a remote team environment
- Beginning to intermediate knowledge of Photoshop and design
- Passion for film, TV, and pop culture
Bonus:
- Background in writing, art and/or design
- Experience with project management tools (Motion AI, Slack, Google Slides)
- Experience in advertising/marketing and/or entertainment
Official working hours are 9:30am – 6:30pm PST. However, late hours are common to meet client deadlines.
This position is remote, but applicants local to Los Angeles/on PST preferred.
Salary Range
$22 - $29/hr
The rate offered will depend on qualifications, years of relevant experience, and skillset. We still encourage you to apply if your requirements fall outside the stated pay range.
