Your Opportunity

Scion is paving a path in student living, and we’re seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to join our team. This role will serve as the primary administrator for our UKG platform, ensuring system integrity, data accuracy, and optimal performance across HR processes.

The HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s HR systems, supporting system configurations, reporting, and user experience. This position partners closely with HR, Payroll, and IT to streamline workflows, support system enhancements, and ensure the HRIS effectively supports business operations.

This role requires a high level of confidentiality, strong analytical skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the UKG HRIS, managing system functionality, user access, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Configure and maintain system workflows, business rules, security roles, and organizational structures within UKG.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide end-user support and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Monitor the Total Rewards inbox for UKG-related system requests or troubleshooting needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute HRIS reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and business leadership.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to optimize system processes and improve operational workflows.
  • Lead system upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation of new UKG features or modules.
  • Strong technical and back-end expertise within UKG, with the ability to support and enhance system functionality
  • Maintain electronic employee records to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Generate and distribute reports related to staffing changes, payroll updates, and workforce metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within UKG and other HR technologies.
  • Build and optimize UKG analytics, reports, and dashboards for HR and key stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements within the UKG platform.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of UKG system architecture and back-end processes resulting in ongoing system integrity.
  • Review and interpret UKG release updates, with the ability to recommend and implement new features and functionality.
  • Utilize a strong analytical mindset to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of system performance and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system gaps.
  • Utilize strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with HRIS and business stakeholders.

What We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of HRIS administration or HR systems experience, preferably with UKG.
  • Experience supporting HRIS configurations, reporting, and system troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience developing HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide high-quality user support.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with HR data.
  • Experience with ClickUp is a plus.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting system issues and performing data cleanup to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Hands on experience building and optimizing UKG analytics, reports, and dashboards
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate with internal teams
  • Ability to take ownership of system performance and continuous improvement

Operational Details

  • Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
  • Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours, with flexibility during peak periods or system implementations.

The base salary range for this full-time position is base + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
