Your Opportunity
Scion is paving a path in student living, and the Senior Regional Marketing Associate (Sr. RMA) plays a key role in translating marketing strategy into portfolio-level execution that drives leasing performance and operational alignment across communities. This role combines leadership, campaign oversight, performance analysis, and execution management to ensure marketing initiatives are effectively implemented and optimized across the portfolio.
The Senior Regional Marketing Associate, works closely with Marketing Managers, Revenue Managers, Regional Managers, and community teams to drive campaign execution, maintain brand consistency, and support occupancy and leasing goals.
This position will be based full-time out of our corporate headquarters in Chicago, IL.
Your Responsibilities
Portfolio Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Translate Marketing Manager strategy into portfolio-level execution plans
- Oversee execution quality across communities and manage Regional Marketing Associates
- Support integrated campaign execution across digital and traditional marketing channels
- Ensure campaigns align with leasing goals, pricing strategies, and occupancy targets
- Review and approve action plans, campaign execution, website updates, and ad performance, email marketing performance.
Digital Marketing & Performance Oversight
- Oversee digital execution strategy and campaign implementation across platforms
- Monitor and optimize ad performance, website content updates, and banner deployment
- Analyze portfolio performance trends and provide insights and recommendations to Marketing Managers
- Oversee portfolio budget tracking, pacing, and adherence to established guideline
- Support invoicing execution within approved budget guardrails
Vendor & Community Management
- Serve as the partial point of contact for digital vendor, ILS platforms, university partnerships, and Instagram credential management
- Manage day-to-day vendor relationships and execution across marketing platforms and partners
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Revenue Management teams to ensure portfolio alignment
- Lead communication with Regional Managers and community teams to support campaign execution and leasing performance
Creative Leadership & Brand Consistency
- Review and approve creative assets prior to launch to ensure alignment with strategy, campaign goals, and brand standards
- Provide feedback and direction on creative execution to improve campaign performance and consistency
- Ensure annual marketing themes are executed consistently across the portfolio
- Support RMAs and community teams in utilizing creative resources, templates, and marketing assets effectively

What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–3 years of marketing experience preferred, ideally in real estate, student housing, or property management
- Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills
- Experience managing campaign performance, budgets, and vendor relationships
- Proficiency with marketing platforms and reporting tools including SOCi, ClickUp, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 30% for regional support, events, and site visits
Operational Details
- Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
- Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.

The base salary range for this full-time position is base + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Illinois Pay Range
$70,000 - $75,000 USD
