About The Role
As a Supply Chain Analyst, your role will be to support and optimize the overall supply chain operations of the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of the supply chain. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic decision-making process, ensuring the organization achieves its goals and objectives.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize statistical methods and tools to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Demand and Inventory Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and optimize inventory levels. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing excess inventory.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify areas of inefficiency within the supply chain process, such as transportation, fulfillment, and procurement. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the performance of the supply chain. Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain strong relationships. Monitor supplier performance, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain, such as disruptions in transportation, changes in regulations, or supplier issues. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of such risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes, monitor their effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage supply chain management systems and analytical tools to enhance data analysis, optimize processes, and improve decision-making. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the supply chain field.
- New Product Innovation: Assist with the end-to-end new product innovation: (formula direction, packaging design, artwork, claims, launch strategy) and partnership with key stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget launch.
We're Excited About Your:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations research, business analytics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical techniques.
- Solid understanding of supply chain concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Pay Transparency:
We can’t quantify everything we think you’ll love about working at Thesis, from the exciting projects you’ll work on, to the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and equity. The base salary hiring range for this position is $65,000-$75,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
