About The Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Software Engineer with hands-on experience in the Shopify ecosystem to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves solving e-commerce challenges, and can seamlessly work across both front-end and back-end systems. You’ll help us build, optimize, and scale engaging, high-performance online shopping experiences for our customers.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.
• Architect full stack features across Shopify (Liquid), front-end (React, Vue, or similar), and back-end (Node.js or similar).
• Integrate Shopify with third-party APIs and services (payment gateways, logistics, analytics).
• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to implement new features and improve the customer experience.
• Own performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
• Ensure best practices for SEO, accessibility, and e-commerce conversion optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD workflows to maintain high code quality.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues in production environments.

We're Excited About Your:

• 3+ years of full stack development experience, ideally within e-commerce.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify—including Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, and app development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, Vue, or similar.
  Experience with back-end development: Node.js, Express, etc.
• Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility.

Pay Transparency: 

We can’t quantify everything we think you’ll love about working at Thesis, from the exciting projects you’ll work on, to the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and equity. The base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
