INTRODUCTION

We are seeking proposals from firms or individuals who specialize in engaging young people of color, ages 16 to 24, through a variety of channels including college campuses, online platforms, and community-based organizations. The selected partner will be responsible for creating, cultivating, and nurturing meaningful partnerships that resonate with this demographic, ensuring sustained engagement and impact.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

The selected firm or individual will be expected to deliver the following:

 

Youth Engagement Strategy

  • Develop strategies to reach and engage young people of color on:
    • College campuses
    • Both owned and shared online platforms (social media, digital campaigns, etc.)
    • Community-based organizations
  • Ensure messaging and outreach methods are culturally relevant and resonate with the target age group (16-24) as guided by our mental health experts.

 

Partnership Development

  • Identify and cultivate meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders where the applicant has existing relationships, including:
    • Educational institutions (colleges, universities, community colleges) 
    • Community-based organizations focused on youth empowerment
    • Online platforms with significant youth followings
  • Develop a strategy to nurture these partnerships
  • Propose a plan for long-term engagement with youth and partners. Include methods for measuring success and adapting strategies as needed.

 

Campaign and Activation

  • Create outreach campaigns that drive engagement among young people of color.
  • Implement activations (both virtual and in-person) that inspire participation and foster connections between our organization and the target demographic.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a firm or individual with the following qualifications:

 

Proven experience in reaching and engaging young people of color, particularly those aged 16-24.

Expertise in working with college campuses, community organizations, and online platforms.

Demonstrated ability to create and cultivate partnerships that lead to sustained engagement.

Knowledge of culturally relevant approaches and strategies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience in tracking success metrics and impact measurement.

 

RFP CRITERIA

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:

  1. Alignment with project goals and ability to engage youth of color.
  2. Proven track record of partnership cultivation.
  3. Strength of proposed methodology and approach.
  4. Cost-effectiveness and value for budget.
  5. Past experience and client references.

Salary Pay Range

$55,000 - $65,000 USD
