UAF (Unified Architecture Framework) Architect
OPS Consulting LLC is seeking an UAF (Unified Architecture Framework) Architect based out of Laurel, MD.
Description:
At OPS Consulting you will be responsible for using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise in building and maintaining UAF Meta-Model profile extensions and Viewpoints in the Cameo Enterprise Architecture tool suite. Cameo systems modeling proficiency with all SysML model types, including executable behavior models, is essential to the System-of-Systems (SoS) architecture development effort. You will use Reference Architectures and design patterns to enhance model template re-use. You will develop and apply metrics to assure architecture quality and integrity. You will also capture and analyze requirements and technical performance measures.
Required Skills:
- Experience dealing with difficult requirements, including functional/performance/interfaces/environmental/security.
- Experience dealing with diverse stakeholders, aggressive schedules, and challenging risk profiles.
- Expertise in using SysML to capture and document use cases, block, internal block, activity, sequence, and parametric diagrams.
- Expertise with Cameo Systems Modeler/Enterprise Architect tool suite in documenting system architectures.
- Experience creating UAF profile extensions and maintaining the integrity of the meta-model.
- Self-starter with good work ethic and proven ability to work as part of a team with a diverse background and common goals.
- Effective communication skills, to include both written and verbal.
Desired Skills:
- Experience as a Cameo systems administrator.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, Physics or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- 5 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
