Application Developer
The Swift Group is seeking an experienced Applications Developer to support a key project within a dynamic technology-based environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong Full Stack development skills, with a preference for Java, and work within an Agile development environment to design, implement, and maintain complex application functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and JavaScript within a client/server-based architecture.
- Implement and maintain complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize GitHub for source control and code collaboration.
- Employ Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment automation.
- Track and manage project progress using JIRA to ensure timely deliverables.
- Design and deploy bug fixes and enhancements, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Stay updated with emerging development trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- Significant years of Full Stack development experience, with a strong preference for Java.
- Proven experience with Java and JavaScript programming languages.
- Hands-on experience in building and supporting applications based on client/server architecture.
- Strong expertise in developing and managing database objects, including functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch and the ELK stack.
- Experience with the Sponsor's A&A process.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with C# for maintaining legacy systems and deploying bug fixes.
- Experience designing and deploying solutions to support existing legacy systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
