Job brief:
The Weather Company is seeking a forward-thinking AI & Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Salesforce, AI/ML, and data analytics to join our growing team. This role will play a critical part in driving the company’s AI initiative focused on automating and optimizing key workflows across Salesforce and connected applications, enabling intelligent operations across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support functions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems, comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, and capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
The impact you'll make:
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem and connected tools, targeting use cases in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Develop machine learning models and intelligent automations to optimize business processes, reduce manual effort, and drive insights across platforms.
- Integrate AI models with Salesforce workflows, including flows, bots, and Einstein services, and ensure seamless data movement across integrated systems.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support real-time and batch AI applications.
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) efforts for AI capabilities, including natural language processing (NLP), predictive modeling, and generative AI assistants.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations to prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
- Monitor and fine-tune AI models to ensure performance, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Stay up to date on AI advancements (e.g., LLMs, automation platforms, CRM-integrated AI tools), and assess their applicability to internal initiatives.
What you've accomplished:
- 5+ years of experience working in or integrating with Salesforce, ideally with knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and platform automation tools (e.g., Flows, Apex, Einstein).
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using AI/ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, OpenAI, LangChain).
- Working knowledge of CRM data models, data quality best practices, and reporting frameworks.
- Experience with AI and machine learning techniques, including supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, NLP, or generative models.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Pandas).
- Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations, particularly around Salesforce and third-party platforms.
- Ability to manage and deliver projects in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Nice to have:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Platform App Builder, AI Associate, or Einstein Analytics).
- Experience with Mulesoft, ServiceNow, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Experience building or deploying AI-powered chatbots or virtual agents.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance in AI solutions.
Base Salary: $140,000 – $155,000
The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
