This is a contracted position for 6+ months. This position offers 60% of fee sharing.
Job Summary
Program Manager
- Lead the overall Project Welcome program, providing strategic oversight across project managers and workgroups focused on pre-service, arrival, clinical care, and post-care improvements.
- Develop and manage the program charter, accountability tools, timelines, and risk mitigation plans to ensure alignment with executive goals and long-term transformation strategies.
- Coordinate interdependencies across all workgroups, establishing tools and processes to ensure alignment, transparency, and collaboration across the program.
- Utilize MS Project and other project management tools to track progress, manage milestones, and communicate status across teams and stakeholders.
- Create and deliver high-quality executive-level slide decks, briefings, and updates for the CEO, CFO (Executive Sponsor), and other governance committees.
- Facilitate regular meetings with project managers and stakeholder groups to ensure clarity of scope, resource alignment, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a central point of accountability for the program, maintaining focus on critical deliverables such as centralized scheduling, authorization, and prescription refill workflows.
- Partner with operational leaders across Patient Access, Medical Group, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Patient & Consumer Experience to ensure alignment between program objectives and day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Epic systems experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Previous experience leading a team of 8+ Project Managers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field
- PMP Certification preferred
