Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead to drive data strategy and execution across our healthcare client engagements. This role will be central to translating complex data into meaningful insights that inform executive decisions and improve operational performance. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with healthcare data, adept with SQL and Power BI, and passionate about enhancing the patient experience through intelligent analytics.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Patient Access, Medical Group, Pharmacy, and Nursing—to gather business requirements and define KPIs aligned with patient experience and operational goals.

Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, user-friendly Power BI dashboards that deliver real-time, actionable insights for executive leadership and operational teams.

Build and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from clinical, financial, and operational systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).

Analyze the end-to-end patient journey (pre-service through post-care) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for workflow improvement and performance enhancement.

Translate business and clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions that support data-driven decision-making and program strategy.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting across analytics tools and platforms through rigorous validation and quality assurance practices.

Provide ad-hoc analyses and visualizations to support initiatives such as centralized scheduling, authorizations, and prescription refill management.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, logic, and metric definitions to support long-term sustainability and team collaboration.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role within a healthcare environment.

Proficiency in Power BI (or similar visualization tools) and advanced SQL required.

Experience working with EMR/EHR systems, particularly Epic and/or Cerner, is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data solutions and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong understanding of healthcare operations, revenue cycle processes, and patient engagement workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, or ETL tools.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy standards.

Familiarity with R or Python for advanced analytics (a plus, not required).
