Job Title: Epic Professional Billing (PB) Consultant – Part-Time (Contract, Remote)
Pay Range: $45–$55 per hour

Experience Required: 3–5 years (minimum) in Epic Professional Billing (PB)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Consultant for a part-time, remote, contract role. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Epic PB and a strong understanding of professional billing operations. This role will focus on managing PB credits, including clearing, resolution, and oversight of the staff responsible for these processes.
Candidates who have experience in both Hospital Billing (HB) and PB are welcome to apply, but strong, hands-on experience in Epic PB is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the PB credit resolution process, including clearing and reconciliation workflows.

Provide guidance and support to staff managing PB credits to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

Collaborate with operational teams to improve and streamline Epic PB workflows.

Leverage Epic system knowledge to support day-to-day billing operations and issue resolution.

Identify and implement best practices for PB operations within Epic.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic PB functionalities and configurations.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on Epic Professional Billing (PB) experience required.

In-depth understanding of PB operational workflows and best practices.

Proven experience managing or supporting PB credit resolution processes.

Epic certification in PB (preferred but not required).

Experience with both PB and HB is a plus, but PB expertise is required.

Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
