Certified Epic Analysts

We welcome experienced Epic-certified professionals across a variety of applications and specialties, including but not limited to:

  • Prelude

  • Cadence

  • Ambulatory

  • Inpatient

  • Orders

  • Revenue Cycle applications

  • Pharmacy and medication-related applications

  • Other Epic applications supporting clinical, operational, and revenue cycle functions

Current Epic certification and recent hands-on Epic experience may be required for certain assignments.

What We Typically Look For

Qualifications will vary based on the specific engagement; however, successful advisory candidates generally bring:

  • Demonstrated healthcare industry experience within their area of expertise

  • Strong functional, operational, technical, or project-based knowledge

  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, health systems, or related environments

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with client and consulting teams

  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Ability to assess current-state operations, identify opportunities, and support implementation of practical solutions

  • Consulting or advisory experience preferred for many engagements

  • Epic certification required for positions specifically seeking Certified Epic Analysts

Education and Experience

Most advisory opportunities require a four-year bachelor's degree.

Depending on the engagement and individual client requirements, some clients may consider approximately 20 years of directly relevant professional experience instead of a four-year degree.

Education and experience requirements will be reviewed individually for each opportunity.

Employment and Compensation

The Wilshire Group's Advisory consulting positions are generally:

  • W-2 hourly positions

  • Compensation is based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, certifications, specialty expertise, and the requirements of the individual engagement

  • Assignment length varies by project

  • Work arrangements may include remote, hybrid, onsite, and/or travel depending on client needs

  • Travel requirements, schedules, anticipated project duration, and hourly compensation will be discussed before a candidate is submitted for a specific opportunity
