About This Opportunity

We're seeking a Consultant specializing in Segmentation, Operations & Experimentation for a 6-month contract (40 hours per week). This role supports the transformation of a large-scale email ecosystem into a centralized, audience-first, insight-driven operating model.

You will play a key role in segmentation design, workflow definition, experimentation setup, and cross-functional coordination — serving as the operational bridge between strategy and execution.

What Makes This Role Different

This is a hands-on consulting role that sits at the center of operational transformation. You will:

  • Support the development and operationalization of audience-first segmentation frameworks
  • Build and refine workflows that govern intake, approvals, conflict checks, and send governance
  • Collaborate across Creative, Legal, Product, Data, and Divisional teams to ensure alignment
  • Design and support structured A/B and multivariate testing frameworks
  • Maintain governance artifacts, documentation, and cadence structures
  • Facilitate requirements sessions and ensure deliverables are clear, actionable, and aligned to program objectives

Requirements 

Segmentation & Audience Strategy

  • Hands-on experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience building or supporting segmentation logic (behavioral, lifecycle, intent)
  • Ability to translate business needs into segment criteria and eligibility rules
  • Experience with CRM/ESP segmentation capabilities (SFMC, Braze, Responsys, Iterable, etc.)

Operations & Workflow Design

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, CRM operations, lifecycle marketing, email program management, or consulting
  • Ability to design and document intake, approval, and execution workflows
  • Strong process orientation with attention to detail and consistency
  • Experience supporting cross-functional operating models with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements

Experimentation & Optimization

  • Hands-on experience supporting A/B or multivariate testing
  • Ability to define test hypotheses, success criteria, and measurement approaches
  • Experience coordinating test setup, documentation, and tracking

Project Coordination & Consulting

  • Experience assisting the facilitation of working sessions and gathering requirements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience aligning cross-functional teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with strong follow-through
  • Experience creating clear, structured documentation (playbooks, workflow diagrams, segmentation rules

What You'll Do

  • Support creation of strategic segments and micro-segments
  • Document workflows, approval paths, and intake processes
  • Help establish send governance, conflict checks, and fatigue rules
  • Facilitate requirements gathering with Creative, Legal, Product, and Data teams
  • Support rollout of A/B and multivariate testing frameworks
  • Partner with data teams to validate logic, refresh cycles, and eligibility rules
  • Support the control tower with structured operational documentation
