SUMMARY OF POSITION 

The Account Manager plays a key role in supporting and in some cases leading the successful planning and execution of client programs. This person will manage day-to-day client communications, coordinate internal teams, and ensure deliverables meet expectations. This role is ideal for someone who has experience managing projects and is looking to grow into a senior-level account position 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Client Management & Communication 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, building strong, professional relationships and maintaining clear, timely communication 
  • Lead weekly status meetings and project deep dives; manage the distribution of updates, recaps, and all client-facing communications throughout each engagement 
  • Anticipate client needs, interpret feedback, and proactively offer solutions that address challenges and add value 

Project & Program Execution 

  • Support and lead the planning and execution of client programs from kickoff through post-event wrap-up, ensuring alignment with client objectives and internal goals 
  • Assist in developing and executing activation plans across experiential, digital, and social channels 
  • Work onsite at projects/events and manage day-of activities, staffing, and logistics as needed 
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets; identify potential issues early and escalate when necessary 
  • Provide ongoing budget monitoring and expense reconciliation in partnership with the program Producer; update clients and secure approvals as needed 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including creative, strategy, production, and digital—to ensure deliverables are on brand, on budget, and on time 
  • Join brainstorms and team meetings to contribute ideas that support integrated creative development and innovation 

Team Support & Development 

  • Train, supervise, and provide timely feedback on project and event staff both in-office and on-site 

Brand/Industry Knowledge & Trend Awareness 

  • Ensure all creative and marketing assets adhere to brand guidelines and receive necessary client approvals before activation 
  • Stay current on industry trends, pop culture, sports, entertainment, and audience insights to inform strategies and enhance activations 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, and/or events, Experiential marketing agency experience preferred.  
  • Minimum 1 years of experience as Account Lead, being primary point of client contact.  
  • Experience managing experiential activations 
  • BA/BS in marketing, business administration, communications or related field 

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES  

  • Deep understanding of community dynamics and engagement strategies 
  • Experience working with or within non-profit organizations 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient in Asana or similar platform for project management and team coordination 
  • Strong project management skillset 
  • Ability to thrive in and enjoy a fast-paced dynamic work environment. 
  • Ability to lead a project team of 3 or more people 
  • Ability to present project plan to small, medium and large sized groups including executives. 
  • Spanish fluency preferred (written and verbal) 

 

OTHER QUALITIES AND SKILLS 

  • High energy and stamina and flexibility in working non-traditional hours as needed (some nights and weekends).  
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude.  
  • Los Angeles area preferred with willingness to work a hybrid schedule (1-2 days in office per week) and travel up to 25% of the time. 

 

Compensation Range:$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 annually. This is the pay range Think True believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role. Think True reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For the permanent full-time role, Benefits include: medical/dental/vision insurance, employer paid basic life and personal accident insurance.
