Join Thoughtexchange as our Director of Product Marketing and help shape the future of engagement in K–12 education. In this role, you’ll shape the future of engagement in K-12 education by setting the vision and leading the team to define and execute go-to-market strategies that bring our AI-driven platform to life for schools, districts, and education leaders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Product Marketing and Sales Enablement team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation while supporting professional growth and impact.
  • Partner with your product team counterparts to develop strategies that successfully bring features and product enhancements to market.
  • Plan and execute product launches from strategy to messaging, channel strategy, and measurement;  collaborating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Partner with Product Management to align roadmap priorities, pricing, and packaging strategies that drive adoption, revenue, and business growth.
  • Develop value propositions, messaging, and positioning that resonate with K–12 leaders, crafting clear, compelling narratives that highlight our platform’s unique benefits.
  • Conduct and synthesize research on K–12 trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform strategy and product direction.
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing to ensure our integrated campaigns reflect deep audience understanding and compelling positioning.
  • Partner closely with the Brand & Content team to ensure our product marketing and content marketing strategies are aligned–and jump into creating content where needed.
  • Implement modern tools, AI, and workflows for product, ecosystem, campaign, and content marketing, including demos, videos, resources, etc.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing in a SaaS environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, 
  • 3+ years focused on sales enablement experience at a similar level
  • Proven experience developing and executing sales enablement strategies, tools, and training that drive product adoption and sales team effectiveness.
  • Direct experience in K–12 education, with deep understanding of customer needs, buying cycles, decision-making processes, and communication channels.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing GTM strategies for Software/SaaS products, ideally in K–12 or education technology markets.
  • Early to growth stage startup experience including scaling a business, building repeatable processes, and operationalizing growth strategies.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision and operational excellence, from setting high-level team strategy to getting in the weeds planning launches and doing competitive research. 
  • Understanding of campaign, channel, content, and comms strategy in addition to product marketing strategy.
  • Proven experience developing sales enablement programs that build consultative and value-based selling skills, resulting in greater pipeline growth, product adoption, and customer advocacy.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience writing short-form and long-form content, and an ability to point to examples of your writing.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to turn data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional collaboration and influence across teams and functions, with the ability to inspire action.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort with and/or ability to quickly learn modern AI-based tools for competitive intelligence, content creation/video, sales enablement, design, etc.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Audience Marketing or Solutions Marketing
  • Account-driven GTM and signal-based marketing experience
  • Prior Product Management experience
  • Familiarity with AI-driven products or platforms for the education sector.

Compensation
The base hiring range for this role is $137,500–$161,500 CAD, with eligibility for the company bonus plan. Your specific compensation within this range will depend on your job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and our internal equity assessment.
