DAMO Market Partner - Principal Consultant

The role of a Market Partner (MP) is vital as a connector between regional sales teams and the DAMO. The focus of sales teams is predominantly in the initial stages of engagement, identifying accounts and providing early sales support to facilitate swift and effective account development and growth. The primary goal of an MP is to identify, nurture, shape DAMO opportunities and accounts, while also cultivating and enhancing partnerships across regional sales teams.
Job responsibilities
- Strategic Engagement and Business Development(deal origination) -Develop sales strategies and set receivable goals in alignment with global directives, taking into account historical sales performance and anticipated market trends.
- Maintain sales funnel and accurate forecast in CRM & collaborate intimately with the regional vertical market and Partner ecosystem to originate DAMO business opportunities. Engage in proactive partnership with Client Principals (CP) and Business Development Managers (BDM) to generate new business leads, formulating DAMO proposals and solutions. Instigate and lead regular planning sessions with vertical leaders.
- Collaborate with the Client Leadership Team (CLT) in expanding and enhancing existing client portfolios, focusing on long-term growth and relationship building. Lead pursuits and craft tailored proposals and solutions in response to client-specific requirements, including handling RFI/RFP processes. Cultivate and enhance the sales and presales capabilities within the DAMO team, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to DAMO engagement processes by uniting diverse roles and skills.
- Dedicatedly work towards achieving and exceeding annual sales targets, contributing to sustained revenue growth. Maintain active coordination with operations, finance, and legal departments to ensure that solutions are compliant and meet client requirements from a regulatory standpoint. Collaborate with other Service lines and Digital Engineering Center (DEC), to ensure right expertise allocation and to provide solutions that are valuable and tailored to client needs.
- Delivery Support - Identifying opportunities to increase DAMO service value through automation and AI-driven operations, with support from SDM and Solution architect. Overlapping during the transition phase to ensure the MS solution is effectively delivered, making timely adjustments to the solution as needed to align with actual delivery requirements, with support from SDM.
- Marketing Support - Clearly communicate and promote DAMO's value proposition, ensuring visibility and understanding across vertical markets.Collaborate with the marketing department to design and orchestrate marketing initiatives and events for DAMO, including internal/external campaigns, client visits, workshops, and webinars, to enhance cross-regional understanding and collaboration.Share capabilities and client success stories to build DAMO's reputation and demonstrate its impact. Actively participate in regional and global meetings to stay connected and informed, contributing to wider strategic discussions.
- Communication and Relationship Management - Develop and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder map for internal and external, managing a strategic communication plan to ensure effective engagement. Regularly interact with key stakeholders to maintain alignment, and visibility, and to exchange necessary feedback. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with Client Principals, the CLT, Technical Consultants, and delivery teams, aiming to achieve optimal sales results through teamwork and shared goals.
- Partnership - Build and maintain collaborative partnerships in the assigned territory’s partner ecosystem. Regularly update partners in the assigned territory on joined go-to-market initiatives and drive co-sell with partners.
Job qualifications
Technical Skills
- A background in sales, marketing, or business development, who understands the landscape of Managed Service but is eager to challenge the status quo with adaptability, a growth mindset, and the ability to work in ambiguity.
- Familiarity with Managed Service delivery, with an openness to rethink and modernize traditional approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with stakeholders across various regions and teams, including onshore and offshore collaboration.

- Exceptional diagnostic, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities to craft and execute effective sales strategies.
