Principal Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to drive the successful execution, transformation, and growth of our Data and AI programs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale digital products at top-tier consulting and/or engineering firms. This role blends delivery leadership with strong product management and data modernization capabilities, ensuring that teams successfully deliver high-impact products that drive measurable business and customer outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to own the end-to-end strategy and delivery of our most strategic client engagements.

Job responsibilities

 

Delivery on Data Modernization Engagements

  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with client stakeholders, bridging technical and business worlds while developing a deep understanding of a client’s strategy, structure, and business model.
  • Partner with client and Thoughtworks leaders to build a shared vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap, translating it into clear business and customer value–based measures of success.
  • Define program success metrics and use data to inform 
  • Track industry trends and competitive landscape, synthesizing research and insights to inform product and portfolio strategy.

Delivery & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs and product portfolios, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Drive delivery transformation across engagements by establishing modern ways of working, strong product operating models, and outcome-oriented governance.
  • Own risk management, dependency management, and delivery health across multiple engagements and commercial constructs (fixed fee and otherwise).

Client & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Director- and VP-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership, facilitating workshops, coaching product and delivery leaders, and introducing best practices.

Team & Program Leadership

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between product, design, engineering, data, and client teams.

Growth & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion and new business.
  • Partner with sales and solution teams on proposals, statements of work, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to recruiting, community building, mentorship, and the evolution of Data and AI best practices.
