
Quality Assurance Tester

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) professional for manual testing of software. APIs. and Web pages. In this role, you will focus on building and managing Windows and Linux-based virtual environments for testing, ensuring efficient system performance. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing Hyper-V infrastructure.
The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Manage and configure virtual environments within Hyper-V for QA testing purposes.
- Develop and maintain test environments, ensuring that they replicate real-world scenarios and are stable for testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the environment, applications, and performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with QA teams to design, implement, and maintain test environments that simulate production systems.
- The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with manual software testing, including testing of web applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of security testing principles and practices.
- Proficiency working across Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with networking concepts and identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra, Azure, and Active Directory.
- Experience testing billing systems and invoicing workflows.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization platforms and managing virtualized environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
- You must learn the ThreatLocker products, features, and use cases.
- Proficiency in configuring and using ThreatLocker products.
- Stay updated on product updates and actively participate in training.

- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
A background check and drug/substance screening are required after a conditional offer. Employment will proceed only upon receiving clear results from both.
ThreatLocker also conducts randomized drug and substance testing approximately every 60 days, in line with the same screening standards.
