As a Content Strategist, you will support the NAVAIR digital department in the Innovation and Culture Division. The client is a dynamic, fast-paced organization focused on customer outreach. Throughline seeks a self-starter candidate who is organized and skilled in strategic communications, project management, data analysis, and customer outreach.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Simplifying complex and technical topics into user-friendly easy to adopt materials
  • Performs strategic communication planning to support client business strategies
  • Create customer experience and communications strategies
  • Simplifying complex and technical topics into user-friendly easy to adopt materials
  • Prepare presentations and develop print materials to support client communications
  • Coordinate projects between accounts, digital strategy, and design teams
  • Manage projects, set and meet deadlines, and communicate deliverables status to clients
  • Prepare and analyze data and provide reporting metrics 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have Common Access Card (preferred) or the ability to obtain
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance
  • Strong NAVAIR knowledge/previous NAVAIR experience required
  • Personal attributes including: self-starter, ability to thrive with ambiguity, solution-oriented, forward-thinking, detail-oriented, eager to learn, tech-savvy
  • Strength in being able to envision the future state and execute the plan to get there
  • Ability to multi-task, take on several projects, meet deadlines, organize, and communicate effectively in large interdisciplinary teams
  • Proven project management track record demonstrating that engagements were delivered on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of principles of graphic design, information layout, and presentation
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft TEAMS toolset and QLIK are a bonus
  • Knowledge or experience working with government/DoD clients preferred

Work Location: 

  • This position is based in Pax River and has a hybrid work schedule in Leonardtown, Maryland, and your home office.

Pay Range:

$80,000 --  $90,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
