Job Title: General Maintenance Worker  

Work Location: Marine Corps Base – Camp Blaz, Guam  

Labor Category: Non-Exempt / CBA 

Clearance Level: Public Trust  

Travel Requirement: Up to 10% 

Pay Rate: $20.71/hour 

Health & Welfare: $5.46/hour up to 40hrs per week  

Scope of Work: 

The primary purpose of this position is to provide base operations support through the performance of general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings. 

Responsibilities: 

• Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and HVAC systems across basic trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.  
• Duties include repairing or replacing fixtures (sinks, toilets, lighting, switches), patching walls, painting, installing doors/locks, replacing windows, and maintaining floors and structures.  
• Conducts general maintenance on equipment, machinery, and HVAC units; assists with Real Property Inventory.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1–2 years of related experience.  
• Strong English communication skills with excellent customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail. 
• Must be eligible to access government worksites, and pass required background and drug/alcohol screenings; flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed. 
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position. 

Physical Demands / Work Environment: 

• Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.  
• Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays. 
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.
