Scope of Work:

The Lead Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a complex, multi-site Emergency Communication System (ECS) and Mass Notification System (MNS) modernization program. This role provides scheduling leadership across all phases of project execution, coordinating design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities while partnering with project leadership, engineering teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders to ensure successful milestone achievement through proactive schedule management, critical path analysis, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Coordinate schedules across design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, construction teams, subcontractors, and Government stakeholders to align project schedules.
  • Monitor progress, analyze schedule performance, identify critical path impacts, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop recovery plans and mitigation strategies to address schedule risks and delays.
  • Validate subcontractor schedules and integrate updates into the master schedule.
  • Prepare schedule reports, forecasts, dashboards, and executive briefings.
  • Support project planning, risk management, and overall program execution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience supporting large federal construction, infrastructure, or mission-critical programs with direct experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Expert proficiency with scheduling software/systems.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, schedule analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Experience supporting emergency communications, mass notification, fire alarm, life safety, or critical infrastructure modernization is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required Government security or facility access credentials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred. 
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with periodic travel to customer and project sites.
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
