As a Capability Lead, you will drive innovation, mentor talent, and shape the Amazon Connect strategy while remaining hands-on in solution delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Excellence &  Leadership
    • Lead high-quality implementations centered on Amazon Connect including integrations with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice
    • Drive technical delivery governance and maintain strong client relationships at the executive level, serving as a technical advisor for project health, risks, and escalations
    • Mentor and manage a growing team of Solution Architects, maintaining delivery standards and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable implementations
    • Partner with the Delivery and Innovation teams to develop reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices
    • Support internal enablement, training sessions, and technical upskilling
    • Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation for contact center and AWS-related projects
  • GTM & Account Growth
    • Define and communicate the go-to-market (GTM) approach for the Amazon Connect Practice
    • Cultivate executive relationships and lead strategic conversations to uncover new consulting opportunities for Thunder’s Salesforce, AWS, Managed Services (Amplify), and Enablement and Training offerings
    • Partner with Thunder Client Directors and Salesforce AEs on account growth, scoping, proposals, and expansion strategies
    • Partner with Sales to ensure detailed account planning, helping lead QBRs and Executive Steering Committee Meetings
    • Drive strategic offerings (e.g, Vision Mapping & Goal Setting, Roadmapping) in both a presales & delivery capacity
    • Partner closely with Amazon Connect and AWS partner teams to strengthen joint offerings and co-sell motions
    • Represent Thunder at key Salesforce and AWS events (reInvent, Dreamforce, World Tours, QBRs, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 4-6+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect architecture and delivery experience. (Experience with Salesforce and Service Cloud Voice a plus)
  • 3-4+ years in a leadership or delivery director-type role, with demonstrated mentorship and team-building experience
  • Proven background in Contact Center strategy, operations, and technical enablement

  • Experience leading or being a key contributor in a profitable AWS practice, setting strategic vision, and achieving aggressive growth targets
  • Strong market intelligence, focusing on creating and executing successful growth strategies
  • Demonstrated exceptional ability to communicate effectively and form lasting relationships across internal teams, partners, and clients, from C-suite level to architect
  • Ability to establish key relationships and position oneself as a thought leader
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration across all Thunder layers to support Thunder’s strategic vision and success
  • Experience with AWS certifications, particularly related to Amazon Connect

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
