QA/Test Engineer – Cleared (Salesforce Federal Delivery)

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Hybrid (US-based, strong preference for DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.

Role Summary

The QA/Test Engineer plays a critical role in validating and verifying Salesforce solutions delivered in Federal cleared environments. This role ensures quality, compliance, and readiness of solutions through test planning, execution, and automation.

Core Pillars

  • Quality Assurance – Develop and execute test cases to validate Salesforce solutions.
  • Automation – Implement automated test scripts where possible, aligned with Federal standards.
  • Compliance Testing – Ensure solutions meet security and compliance testing requirements (ATO prep).
  • Collaboration – Partner with developers, BAs, and PMs to ensure solutions meet mission objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and test cases for Salesforce Federal delivery projects.
  • Execute functional, regression, and integration testing in cleared environments.
  • Support automation of test cases using Salesforce testing tools and frameworks.
  • Document defects, track resolution, and retest fixes for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Ensure all testing activities align with Federal compliance and security requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QA/testing experience in Salesforce or IT environments.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with Federal compliance testing requirements (FedRAMP, ATO).
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Active Security Clearance required (Secret or higher).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Travel required, as necessary
