About the role:

 

We’re looking for a clinical leader (physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant) passionate about women’s primary care and clinical excellence to manage the people and processes that make Tia exceptional for our San Francisco Market. As the San Francisco Medical Director/Manager, you will oversee the San Francisco Medical team including medical providers, ultrasound technicians, and acupuncturists virtually and in clinic. In collaboration with local and central operational partners, and the clinic manager, you’ll create solutions, solve problems and drive clinical excellence. You will continue to provide patient care at Tia 50-60% of the time, and will also contribute significant clinical and operational leadership to enable market wide high quality clinical care and operational efficacy. 

 

The ideal candidate is excited about working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with change, excited about managing clinical teams, is passionate about improving the delivery of healthcare for women and deeply understands how to translate operating plans and business objectives into successful clinical environments.

 

You will also have the opportunity to see patients at our San Francisco clinic, delivering comprehensive and integrative primary care for women. With time you will help us open additional clinics in the San Francisco bay area.

 

What will you be working on? 

  • Managing the Tia providers who care for San Francisco based patients 
    • This team includes virtual and in clinic women’s health and primary care providers (MD, DO, NP, PA), acupuncturist(s), and ultrasound technician(s).
    • This includes recruitment, onboarding and retention of a high quality provider team, professional development for managers and providers, coaching and leadership development
  • Partnering with Market and Clinical Operations leadership to ensure patient access and experience, clinic care team engagement and retention, clinical quality, and operational excellence
    • Including supporting new clinic openings and events
  • Collaborating with our local health care partner, USCF, by supporting relevant partnership relationships and initiatives as appropriate
  • Leading and/or supporting clinical quality improvement initiatives to ensure high quality care and measurement
  • Developing and maintaining a top notch culture within and across in person and virtual clinics resulting in team member collaboration, satisfaction and retention
  • Providing direct patient care for Tia members, applying your clinical expertise to a full spectrum of primary care and gynecological services  - this role is designed to be 50-60% patient care to start with an opportunity to reduce clinical time and add additional leadership time as the market grows.
    • Including performing in-office procedures, in-line with your clinical training
  • Serving as a collaborating physician with local nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants if you are a physician

Skills and assets you’ll bring to Tia: 

 

  • Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Internal or Family Medicine or other relevant specialty or nationally certified as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Completed an accredited residency program or completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a national certification
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • 5+ years managing a team of clinicians
  • State licensure in the state of California
  • Deep clinical expertise in providing primary care and/or gynecology services
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the US

Comp Range 

$177,000-$300,000 depending on experience and clinical training
