About the Role
We’re hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide multi-site float coverage across Tia’s Los Angeles clinics, including Pasadena, Silver Lake, Studio City, West Hollywood, Culver City, and Playa Vista.
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive primary care and women’s health services while supporting clinic coverage during staffing gaps, high-volume periods, PTO, training, or emergent needs.
This role is ideal for a clinician who brings strong outpatient primary care and women’s health experience, works well with autonomy, and can quickly integrate into different clinic teams while maintaining consistent care quality, workflow execution, and patient experience.

What You’ll Do
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive primary care and women’s health services in an outpatient setting, including annual exams, pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, urgent care concerns, and whole-person care.
- Women’s Health & Procedures: Provide gynecologic care, UTI and vaginal infection consults, and perform IUD insertions.
- Primary Care Management: Manage common primary care needs, including hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, basic dermatologic concerns, cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, and related concerns.
- Multi-Site Coverage: Float across Tia’s LA clinics to support staffing gaps, high-volume periods, training, PTO, and emergent coverage needs.
- Workflow Execution: Quickly integrate into each clinic’s daily flow while upholding Tia’s standardized workflows, documentation expectations, and patient experience standards.
- Care Model Support: Contribute to the ongoing iteration of Tia’s care model through technology development, interdisciplinary case studies, protocol development, clinical content review, and innovation.
- Team Support: When not in patient visits, support provider inbox work, RN team needs, clinical mentorship, or other care delivery priorities.
What You’ll Bring
Requirements
- Credentials: NP or PA with national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA; active California license; and active DEA.
- Clinical Expertise: 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience with a focus on women’s health, including routine gynecology, contraception, STIs, mental health, and inclusive, patient-centered care.
- Technology & Data: Strong comfort with technology, EHRs, AI-supported documentation, and data-informed care delivery.
- Float Readiness: Ability to work with high autonomy and adapt quickly across multiple clinic environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience performing Nexplanon insertions and/or colposcopies
- Experience in trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and gender-affirming care
- Experience managing depression and anxiety in outpatient primary care
- Experience incorporating integrative medicine into care planning
- Experience serving diverse communities across different care settings or modalities
Work Location
This role is based in the Los Angeles market and requires onsite coverage across multiple Tia clinics, including Pasadena, Silver Lake, Studio City, West Hollywood, Culver City, and Playa Vista.
This is a part-time role with a set schedule of either two or three 8-hour shifts per week. Mondays are required, with flexibility across Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for the remaining shift or shifts.
Floats will primarily provide patient care at an assigned clinic for the day. Clinic assignments will be shared the night before or the morning of the shift. When not in patient visits, Floats may support provider inbox coverage, RN team needs, clinical content creation and review, clinical mentorship, or other care delivery priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, role leveling, business needs, and market conditions.
The expected compensation for this role is $79,872 - $119,808 annually, based on a part-time schedule of two to three shifts per week.
The full-time float salary equivalent is $199,680 annually.
