About the Role
We’re hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide whole-person primary care and women’s health services at Tia’s New York clinics in Williamsburg or SoHo.
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Tia, you’ll be an integral part of the care delivery system, providing affirming primary care, gynecologic care, urgent care support, procedures, and holistic care. You’ll also help shape and improve Tia’s care model through direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, protocol development, and clinical innovation.
This role is ideal for a family or adult NP or PA with experience and passion for both primary care and gynecologic care.

What You’ll Do
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive primary care and women’s health services in an outpatient setting, including annual exams, pap smears, STI screening, urgent care concerns, and whole-person care.
- Women’s Health: Provide gynecologic care, contraception counseling, UTI and vaginal infection consults, and support for a broad range of women’s health needs.
- Primary Care Management: Manage common primary care needs, including hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, basic dermatologic concerns, cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, and related concerns.
- Quality & Advocacy: Deliver affirming, inclusive, patient-centered care grounded in shared decision-making and respect for each patient’s goals and lived experience.
- Collaboration: Partner with clinical and operational teammates to support seamless care delivery, continuity of care, and a strong patient experience.
- Clinical Innovation: Contribute to the development of Tia’s care model through interdisciplinary case studies, protocol development, technology feedback, and innovation.
- Data & Tech: Use technology, EHRs, AI-supported documentation, and data-informed workflows to support efficient, high-quality care.
What You’ll Bring
Requirements
- Credentials: NP or PA with national board certification; active, unrestricted New York license; and active DEA where required for practice.
- Clinical Expertise: Experience in outpatient primary care with a focus on women’s health, including routine gynecology, contraception, STIs, mental health, and inclusive, patient-centered care.
- Primary Care Scope: Experience managing common primary care needs, including hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, urgent care concerns, basic dermatologic conditions, UTIs, and vaginal infections.
- Technology & Data: Strong comfort with technology, EHRs, AI-supported documentation, and data-informed care delivery.
Nice to Have
- Experience in trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and gender-affirming care
- Experience managing depression and anxiety in outpatient primary care
- Experience incorporating integrative medicine into care planning
- Experience serving diverse communities across different care settings or modalities
Work Location
This role is based in New York and will support Tia’s Williamsburg or SoHo clinic.
This is a part-time role of up to 30 hours per week. The schedule is set with some flexibility, and may include some evenings and weekends based on clinic needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, role leveling, business needs, and market conditions.
The expected full-time equivalent salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000 annually. This is a part-time role of up to 30 hours per week, with compensation prorated based on the final agreed-upon schedule. For a 30-hour/week schedule, the expected prorated range is approximately $105,000 to $120,000 annually.
