ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a strategic and accomplished FP&A Lead to drive global financial processes and deliver actionable insights that shape business performance. This pivotal role involves overseeing management reporting, automating workflows, and supporting strategic decision-making as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

As an FP&A Lead you’ll be adding value to Tide in the following areas:

  • Management Reporting:
    • Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts with actionable commentary for senior leadership.
    • Enhance departmental reporting to track performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Strategic Insights:
    • Build a comprehensive reporting suite, offering insights into P&L and departmental financial performance.
    • Partner with department heads to drive alignment on budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Process Automation:
    • Streamline reporting processes with automated solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.
    • Ensure accurate cost data capture through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting:
    • Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes, providing scenario analyses to inform strategy.
    • Deliver stress testing to support agile decision-making.
  • Cost Control:
    • Optimise and automate weekly cost reporting with root cause analysis of spending against forecasts.
    • Identify opportunities for cost efficiency and improvement.
  • Leadership & Business Partnering:
    • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, offering clear financial guidance.
    • Lead high-impact financial projects and support strategic initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or an MBA in Finance with strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools (Excel/G-Sheets), with advanced expertise in Anaplan or similar systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of delivering financial insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Proven experience in driving process improvements and automating financial reporting workflows to achieve scale and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage projects, influence stakeholders, and inspire confidence across teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering clear and impactful messages to senior leaders.
  • A self-starter with a proactive, solution-focused approach and a keen eye for detail.
  • Adept at managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • At least 10 years of relevant or transferable experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or a similar role.
  • Personable and collaborative, with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships across all levels of the organisation.
