ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Commercial Finance and FP&A team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tide — enabling data-driven decisions that accelerate growth and optimise performance.

As a strategic partner to the business, we combine deep financial expertise with strong commercial acumen to deliver impactful support across all functions. From analysing complex data to influencing high-stakes decisions, we are at the forefront of driving value in one of the most exciting and dynamic sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a highly accomplished and skilled FP&A Lead to own, drive, and continuously improve the company's global financial planning processes. This is a critical, high-visibility role where you will be instrumental in translating our strategic vision into financial reality across our complex, multi-entity, international structure.

The ideal candidate has a deep blend of technical financial planning expertise, exceptional project management skills, a strong ability to manipulate and derive insights from data, and the vision to communicate the "so what" through compelling storytelling.

The successful candidate in this role will be focused on the following:

  • Lead the entire company-wide Quarterly Reforecasting and Annual Budget cycles across all entities and international markets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Act as the Senior Project Manager for all major planning cycles, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, clear communication of deliverables, and efficient coordination across a large, diverse, and global group of stakeholders.
  • Own the Board Meeting timeline and management for all financial materials, coordinating input delivery and ensuring high-quality, timely presentations.
  • Establish and run a monthly rolling P&L forecast process to ensure continuous forward-looking visibility and proactive identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Setup and run the Balance Sheet forecasting process, ensuring accurate projections for working capital, fixed assets, and liabilities by precisely linking them to operational and P&L drivers.
  • Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and methodologies, leveraging your technical background to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and agility in a rapidly scaling environment.
  • Dive deep into complex, high-volume data to "see the forest through the trees", identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop high-impact presentations and reports for the Executive team and Board of Directors, turning complex financial analysis into clear, concise, and compelling storytelling for decision-making.
  • Master and serve as subject matter expert for the new planning tool system (Aleph), optimising its structure, security, and performance for all users.
  • Be the model/format czar responsible for maintaining consistent modeling standards, reporting templates, and data definitions across all of Finance to ensure accuracy and comparability.
  • Partner closely with the Commercial, Financial Control and Reporting and Treasury teams to ensure alignment between planning and reporting.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years of progressive and relevant experience in a demanding FP&A, Corporate Finance, or similar role, specifically within a fast-growth tech, FinTech, or scale-up environment.
  • Proven expertise in independently leading and managing global planning cycles (Budgeting/AOP and Forecasting) for a multi-entity organisation.
  • Exceptional Project Management skills - a demonstrated ability to structure, organise, and drive a high-stakes, cross-functional process with numerous stakeholders on strict deadlines.
  • Strong technical proficiency in data manipulation and extraction; hands-on experience with SQL is required for complex data analysis.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in using FP&A systems (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, etc.) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of synthesising complex data into clear, concise, and compelling storytelling for executive consumption.
