ABOUT THE TEAM:
The candidate will be responsible for building, scaling, and managing the national medical lending business. This includes hospital onboarding, patient financing solutions, hospital working capital loans, and team loans for medical professionals. The role requires strong leadership, partnerships with healthcare institutions, and disciplined execution to drive profitable growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
1. Business Growth & Strategy
● Develop and execute the national sales strategy for medical loans across all verticals:
○ Hospital onboarding & partnerships
○ Patient funding (elective & emergency procedures)
○ Hospital working capital financing
○ Team loans for doctors, nurses, and hospital staff
● Set annual, quarterly, and monthly targets aligned with organizational goals.
● Identify new geographies, hospital clusters, and healthcare networks for expansion.
2. Hospital Onboarding & Partnerships
● Lead onboarding of large hospital chains, mid-sized hospitals, and clinics across India.
● Negotiate commercial terms, MOUs, and revenue-sharing models with hospitals.
● Build long-term partnerships with hospital promoters, CFOs, and medical directors.
● Ensure seamless integration of loan journeys at hospital billing and admission desks.
3. Patient Funding & Medical EMI Solutions
● Drive adoption of patient financing solutions for procedures such as surgeries, diagnostics, fertility, cosmetic treatments, and chronic care.
● Work closely with hospitals to train front-desk, billing, and relationship teams to identify eligible patients.
● Improve approval TAT, conversion ratios, and customer experience.
● Ensure transparent communication of pricing, tenure, and repayment to patients.
4. Hospital Working Capital Financing
● Build a strong pipeline for working capital loans to hospitals and clinics.
● Coordinate with credit and risk teams for financial assessment and structuring.
● Monitor portfolio quality and proactively manage early warning signals.
5. Team Loans (Medical Professionals & Staff)
● Scale team loans for doctors, nurses, technicians, and hospital staff in partnered hospitals.
● Design and implement salary-deducted or institutional-supported loan programs.
● Work with HR and finance teams of hospitals for smooth rollout and adoption.
6. Team Leadership & Sales Management
● Build and manage a pan-India sales team including regional managers, area managers, and relationship executives.
● Define KPIs, incentive structures, and productivity benchmarks.
● Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and capability-building programs.
● Foster a culture of ethical sales, compliance, and customer-centricity. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Disbursement volumes and revenue across all medical loan products
● Number of hospitals onboarded and active partnerships
● Patient funding conversion ratios and TAT
● Portfolio quality (delinquencies, NPAs)
● Team productivity and regional performance
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
● 12–15 years of experience in secured/unsecured lending, healthcare financing, or institutional sales.
● Proven experience in hospital partnerships or medical loan products preferred.
● Prior experience managing large, multi-location sales teams.
● Strong understanding of medical loan products and healthcare ecosystem.
● Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
● Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
● High ethical standards and risk awareness.
● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
● MBA / Postgraduate degree in Management, Finance, or Marketing preferred.
● Relevant certifications in banking or lending are a plus.
