WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to fill the role of Business Finance Team Lead. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of skills, experience, and qualities essential for leading teams, managing partnerships, driving sales, and expanding our business across both unsecured and secured lending channels. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who has:

 

  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in initiating and executing outbound sales campaigns to identify potential loan prospects and contribute to business growth.
  • Client Acquisition Skills: Proven ability to target new client acquisition by leveraging leads and converting them into business opportunities. Experience collaborating closely with DSA Channel Partners, Area/Cluster Heads, and independently cultivating a strong local DSA network.
  • Partnership Onboarding Experience: Track record of successfully onboarding new partners within the MSME sector, including NBFCs, DSAs, loan aggregators, and fintech firms, with a focus on unsecured loans.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Ability to achieve sales targets by expanding infrastructure, optimising DSA usage, and enhancing loan conversion, sanction, and utilisation rates through maintaining a robust sourcing funnel.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, utilising the DSA network to increase sales, and effectively managing connectors and builders.
  • Partnership Development Skills: Experience in forging and nurturing new channel partnerships to explore new markets and boost business opportunities.
  • Lead Generation Coordination: Ability to collaborate with on-the-ground teams for effective sales lead generation and conversion.
  • Business Channel Expansion: Capability to identify and secure business from market channels, constantly exploring new avenues for growth..

What makes you a great fit

  • Driven and goal-oriented with the ability to excel both as an individual contributor and in motivating teams
  • 6-11 years of experience in sales and business development, specializing in banking and unsecured business loans, with a focus on managing DSA channels.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling DSA-led sales teams
  • Skilled in using tools like Zendesk, GSuite, and Jira.
  • Confident in customer interactions, ensuring they maximize their account benefits.
  • Dedicated to solving problems and tackling challenging situations.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving recurring issues through innovative workflows.
  • Excellent organisational abilities.
  • Background in customer service within the finance sector.
  • Some experience in startup environments, adaptable to rapid changes
