Regional Relations Manager (they/she/he)
TIER Mobility is Europe’s leading shared micro-mobility provider, with a mission to Change Mobility for Good. By providing people with a range of shared, light electric vehicles, from e-scooters to e-bikes and e-mopeds, powered by a proprietary Energy Network, TIER helps cities reduce their dependence on cars. Founded in 2018 by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin.
Recently we have closed a financial transaction to merge with Dott. Together we create the European champion of shared micro-mobility, with revenues of €250m, supporting over 125M trips a year in more than 20 countries. Following this closing, teams across TIER and Dott will be progressively integrated. There has never been a more exciting time to join this ride!
Full-time / Permanent role
The role and your impact at TIER-Dott:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with cities, officials and other stakeholders cross country;
- Find and materialise opportunities to profitably grow the business;
- Identify levers on pricing strategy;
- Assist in developing and executing proactive public policy strategies to drive TIER-Dott’s public affairs agenda and positioning in the market;
- Be an integral team member for tender responses, by contributing to build the narrative / strategy and understand the cities requirements;
- Support the identification, engagement and management of stakeholders on municipal level;
- When required, act as a support/consultant to other internal team members within the Region in order to help them navigate conversations with third parties and materialise business developments opportunities;
- Be a sparring partner to the public policy team and to the commercial managers, ensuring that well-informed and considered regional operations, market development, and expansion strategies are pursued;
- Work in close collaboration with the commercial, operations, and other departments to drive a healthy regulatory environment in the Region.
- Implement and execute the plan set by leadership to grow TIER-Dott’s footprint within your area of responsibility.
You'll fit great with these skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated 5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience in areas of public policy, contract management and/or business development experience in the public sector;
- Demonstrated Project Management experience and the ability to work crossfunctionally, coordinating internal and external stakeholders;
- Effective communications skills, fluency in English and Swedish. Additional Nordics languages would be taken as a plus;
- Experience working within a Transport, Local Authority environment or mobility operations highly desired;
- Proven track record and strong business acumen in building and running operations and establishing partnerships;
- Organised and structured mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environments;
- Excellent presentation and organisational skills.
