TIER Mobility is Europe’s leading shared micro-mobility provider, with a mission to Change Mobility for Good. By providing people with a range of shared, light electric vehicles, from e-scooters to e-bikes and e-mopeds, powered by a proprietary Energy Network, TIER helps cities reduce their dependence on cars. Founded in 2018 by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin.
Recently we have closed a financial transaction to merge with Dott. Together we create the European champion of shared micro-mobility, with revenues of €250m, supporting over 125M trips a year in more than 20 countries. Following this closing, teams across TIER and Dott will be progressively integrated. There has never been a more exciting time to join this ride!
Permanent / Full-time position
The role and your impact at TIER-Dott
- Manage our e-scooter and e-bike fleet and make sure our daily operations are running smoothly;
- Develop and execute strategic operational plans to reach our targets for the city, this includes staffing, repairs, macro and micro fleet distributions, and planning work for our subcontractors;
- Increase utilisation of fleet by keeping it in a good technical condition so that our customers have a large choice of scooters to pick from at all time;
- Ensure that the fleet is intact, active on the street, and core KPIs are hit (e.g. rides/e-scooter);
- Engaging with local city municipalities and external stakeholders, to advance TIER-Dott’s interest, ensure a wider provision of service to our customers, and importantly, ensure that our micro-mobility service serves as an asset to our partner cities;
- Manage a team of mechanics and rangers;
- Maintain the in warehouse fleet, follow repair process and strive for higher efficiency;
- Implement and maintain H&S management in the warehouse;
- Recruiting, training, and managing the relationship with our network of third-party logistics providers responsibilities;
- Developing and implementing processes, planning to respond to the business needs both in terms of P&L performance and core operational KPI's;
- Take responsibility for the success of our business in your city, responding to a regularly-changing environment, not just by solving challenges, but aiming to prevent them from occurring;
- Provide the best possible customer experience, while still reaching profit margin targets.
You'll fit great with these skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in general operations, logistics, or similar (3+ years);
- Prior experience in the mobility, transport, or logistics industry (e.g. Uber, Lime, Deliveroo) is preferred;
- Analytical & data-driven, incl. knowledge of data tools & visualisers (e.g. Excel, gSheets); SQL and Kepler would be considered a plus;
- Ability to give directions and supervise Operations Partners, Mechanics and Rangers;
- Organised and structured mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced environments;
- Considerable experience with project management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement;
- Excellent communication skills in English & Swedish (preferred).
