Pricing Manager (they/she/he)
TIER Mobility is Europe’s leading shared micro-mobility provider, with a mission to Change Mobility for Good. By providing people with a range of shared, light electric vehicles, from e-scooters to e-bikes and e-mopeds, powered by a proprietary Energy Network, TIER helps cities reduce their dependence on cars. Founded in 2018 by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin.
Recently we have closed a financial transaction to merge with Dott. Together we create the European champion of shared micro-mobility, with revenues of €250m, supporting over 125M trips a year in more than 20 countries. Following this closing, teams across TIER and Dott will be progressively integrated. There has never been a more exciting time to join this ride!
About the Role
As part of the Commercial team, you will own the strategy, planning and implementation of pricing initiatives within the regions covered by Tier-Dott (200+ cities). Your projects and initiatives ensure our pricing generates the best balance between demand generation and unit economics. You will also be responsible for the modeling / tooling required for you to make the right decisions including cost base modeling, competitor tracking and price elasticity.
This pivotal role demands a strategic leader capable of combining analytical skills with good stakeholder management skills to make the right decisions regarding our offers allowing us to optimise our revenues and margins while providing the right offers to our users.
What you’ll do
- Pricing Strategy: Define the right offer by market based on market analysis, financial data and competitor changes;
- Pricing Management: Work closely with regional general managers to understand their local needs, propose your defined strategy and roadmap;
- Pricing Implementation: Implement pricing via our internal tool, define CRM and marketing strategy needed to push for the new pricing;
- Pricing Support: Support central operations, user support and other stakeholder teams in implementing the right processes (eg: refunds, routines, etc.);
- New Product & Feature Introduction: Support the product and engineering team in planning, testing and scaling of new product features related to pricing (eg: packages, dynamic pricing, temporary price surges, etc.).
What you’ll need
- 3-5 experience in pricing and/or revenue management. A broader strategy and/or analytics role in a consulting firm or tech company is a plus;
- Understanding of the key decision factors behind pricing (cost base, competition, price elasticity);
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with transversal teams (general managers, user support, data, product, etc.);
- Strong Analytical skills; prior experience in SQL and Tableau is a plus;
- Strong written and oral communication skills (Excel/G-sheets, Notion, etc.);
- Passion for driving revenue growth and providing users with the right offer;
- Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
