Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll support our accounting team by accurately processing invoices, maintaining AP records, communicating with vendors, and ensuring payable information is entered and tracked efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, review, and enter high-volume purchase order invoices into Sage and the AP Data Log, processing approximately 150–200 invoices per week.
- Maintain the AP Data Log daily, accurately tracking invoices, issues, and follow-ups.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips in accordance with the company's three-way match process.
- Identify and escalate purchase orders that do not have a corresponding invoice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and documentation.
- Review and submit employee reimbursement requests to HR on a weekly basis.
- Follow up on outstanding purchase order issues and communicate recurring invoice-processing issues to the appropriate teams.
Participate in AP team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.

What It Takes to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 1+ year of accounting or clerical experience preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software; Sage Intacct preferred.
- Ability to accurately process a high volume of invoices and maintain detailed records.
- Strong follow-through and ability to identify and escalate issues promptly.
- Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
