Senior Product Analyst, Growth

Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)

Founded in 2018 with co-headquarters in Dublin and Boston, Tines powers some of the world's most important workflows. Our intelligent workflow platform applies AI, automation, and integration with human ingenuity to drive real business results.

Tines serves a diverse range of customers, from startups to public companies, including Canva, Databricks, Elastic, Kayak, Intercom, and McKesson. As an integrator across the entire tech stack, Tines is vendor-agnostic integrating with any API-enabled service. This flexibility enables our customers to achieve their highest-priority goals faster. And because Tines is secure and private by design, it’s popular with security, IT, engineering, finance, and other security-focused teams.

At Tines, we're driven by our values of Simplicity, Speed, and Soundness. We're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity. We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.

Reporting to our VP of Growth, we are looking for a Senior Analyst to own growth measurement and operations. This role sits at the intersection of product, commercial, and data; you'll define how we measure our PLG funnel, help run our experimentation engine, and build the operational frameworks that coordinate between teams.

Our ideal candidate has deep experience with growth analytics in B2B SaaS and brings an operational mindset to measurement. You'll own the onboarding lifecycle and monetization metrics while partnering closely with our product analyst on product instrumentation. You understand how product usage connects to commercial outcomes and can translate between technical and business audiences. You're excited to shape growth measurement at a company moving from startup to scale-up, and you're more interested in solving complex problems than finding complex solutions.

Ideally looking at someone who can come to the office at least once a week.

What you will be doing:

  • Define & own measurement: Own activation/TTFV and retention definitions, North Star metrics, and guardrails. Maintain a single source of truth for core growth metrics. Establish and maintain event taxonomy and tracking plan.
  • Funnel & loop analytics: Map the PLG funnel (visit → sign-up → onboard → activate → pay → expand). Diagnose drop-offs, size opportunities, and propose tests to improve conversion.
  • Onboarding, lifecycle & monetization: Identify first-value moments. Recommend in-product nudges, paywall placements, trial lengths, and credit gating. Build segments for targeted nudges; model upgrade propensity; analyze packaging/pricing experiments.
  • Feature & product support: Partner with product managers to set success metrics and monitor rollouts. Work with the existing product analyst and data function to ensure PLG measurement needs are met when building new features.
  • Run the experiment engine: Draft hypotheses and power analyses. Define success and guardrail metrics. Pre-register analyses, communicate results, and document learnings.
  • Enablement & insights: Build self-serve dashboards in Omni that answer top growth questions. Ship regular insights and quarterly syntheses on what we've learned about activation and growth.
  • Data quality: Work with data engineering to design pipelines for growth data sources. Write data tests, monitor freshness/completeness, and run event QA.
  • Operations & coordination: Coordinate between rev ops, data engineering, platforms, and product teams. Assess tooling needs (build vs. buy decisions). Set up and instrument growth tools.

What you bring with you:

Must Have:

  • 5+ years experience in growth analytics or similar with strong focus on PLG and self-serve funnels
  • Deep experience with product-led growth motions in B2B SaaS
  • Strong SQL skills; confident with CTEs, window functions, and building funnels, cohorts, and retention analyses
  • Proficiency with BI tools for dashboard creation (we use Omni)
  • Experience with product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar)
  • Experimentation fluency; can design powered experiments and analyse results rigorously
  • Operational mindset; experience coordinating between multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Strong written and oral communication; can tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences of varying seniority
  • Self-starter mentality; can unblock themselves when facing obstacles

Nice to have:

  • Experience with dbt for data modelling and maintaining clean, tested data models
  • Familiarity with experiment platforms (GrowthBook, Optimizely, or similar)
  • Python for data analysis, statistical modelling, and ad-hoc exploration
  • React or frontend framework understanding for deeper instrumentation work
  • Experience scaling PLG at B2B SaaS companies from startup to scale-up
