Product Marketing Manager - Regulated Industries

United States - East (Remote)

Founded in 2018 with co-headquarters in Dublin and Boston, Tines powers some of the world's most important workflows. Our intelligent workflow platform applies AI, automation, and integration with human ingenuity to drive real business results.

Tines serves a diverse range of customers, from startups to public companies, including Canva, Databricks, Elastic, Kayak, Intercom, and McKesson. As an integrator across the entire tech stack, Tines is vendor-agnostic integrating with any API-enabled service. This flexibility enables our customers to achieve their highest-priority goals faster. And because Tines is secure and private by design, it’s popular with security, IT, engineering, finance, and other security-focused teams.

At Tines, we're driven by our values of Simplicity, Speed, and Soundness. We're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity. We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.

This is a remote position that must be based on the East coast - (DC/Maryland Metro)

At the core of this role is your ability to connect the dots: translating what the federal and regulated market needs into how Tines' platform can meet those needs, and building the narrative, tools, and enablement that bring that story to life.

You will own our go-to-market strategy and narrative for regulated industries, with public sector as your primary focus. You will shape how Tines speaks to federal agencies, defense organizations, SLED buyers, and government contractors navigating complex compliance mandates, legacy infrastructure, and mission-critical operational requirements. You will work closely with colleagues across product marketing, public sector, engineering, product, and legal to do that.

This role reports to the Head of Product Marketing.

Regulated audiences have unique requirements and demand a very specific kind of storytelling. We need someone who brings the experience to navigate that nuance and is genuinely excited by the challenge of telling a story no one else in the market is telling yet.

Your work will complement our broader positioning and messaging efforts with your product marketing colleagues. As a team, product marketing's core objective is building a clear, consistent, and differentiated narrative. Everything we do is in pursuit of that goal.

We have already broken into one of the hardest markets in technology, closing some of the most recognized financial institutions and agencies on the planet. You would be driving that success forward.

This role is based on the US East Coast, with a preference for the Washington DC or Maryland metro area given the proximity to our federal customer base and key government stakeholders. US citizenship is required. This role requires approximately 40% travel for customer events, team on-sites, and field enablement activities.

What you will be doing:

Vertical positioning and messaging
Own and evolve our narrative for public sector. Translate Tines' platform capabilities into language that resonates with government buyers, compliance stakeholders, and technical evaluators. Be the person on the team who understands what the federal market needs and can map it back to what Tines can offer.

Go-to-market execution
Build the narratives, playbooks, and resources that enable our public sector and regulated teams to be successful. Partner closely with the field on talk tracks, events, and materials.

Compliance and certification
Serve as the primary product marketing contact for compliance initiatives including FedRAMP. Work across product, legal, security, and GTM to translate certification requirements into market-facing narratives and enablement materials.

Product launches and positioning
Partner with the platform team to deliver product launches and releases to regulated audiences. Support adoption with FAQs, compliance briefs, and resources that help highly regulated customers move fast and conscientiously.

Thought leadership and content
Create the assets, including pitch decks, white papers, blogs, compliance briefs, and tech specs, that build Tines' credibility and presence in regulated markets. Support executive leadership with thought-leading positions on AI in government and regulated industries.

Internal enablement
Run technical trainings and equip colleagues across commercial and technical roles with everything they need to sell and win in regulated industries.

Competitive intelligence
Provide technically grounded insights on our differentiation to support commercial and engineering colleagues serving highly regulated customers.

What you bring with you:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, including demonstrated experience helping a company enter or grow within the public sector or a regulated market
  • Experience at a fast-moving technology company is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement and compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP
  • Comfort navigating a highly technical product and translating complexity into approachable, compelling narratives. You do not need to write the code, but you need to understand what it does and why it matter

How you work

  • You move fast without cutting corners. You know when attention to detail is non-negotiable and when speed is the right call, and you do not need to be told which is which
  • You leverage AI to move faster but do not rely on it to do your job. Your judgment, point of view, and craft are your own
  • You are comfortable presenting your thinking and defending a point of view in a room that includes legal, security, product, and executive stakeholders, and iterating quickly based on feedback
  • You are a clear, confident written and verbal communicator
  • You manage projects with rigor, keep stakeholders aligned, and operate independently without needing close direction

Requirements

  • US citizenship required. This role involves engagement with government customers and programs that carry citizenship requirements
  • Based on the US East Coast, with a preference for the Washington DC or Maryland metro area
  • Approximately 40% travel required

Target Annual Compensation: $165 - $180k + equity

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
