SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to join our Business Intelligence department and lead Agile development practices across one or more teams. In this role, you will coach and support cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and features efficiently, while fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating core ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
• Oversee day-to-day team performance, ensuring clear expectations, timely delivery, and alignment with sprint goals
• Coach teams on Agile values, principles, and best practices to encourage high performance, autonomy, and cross-functionality
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to team progress; foster a psychologically safe environment that encourages open communication and experimentation
• Collaborate with management to ensure a prioritized, well-defined backlog that aligns with business goals
• Monitor team health and sprint metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to track progress and identify improvement areas
• Lead hiring efforts, including coordinating interviews, assessments, and selection processes
• Manage the onboarding of new team members to ensure smooth integration into Agile workflows, tools, and culture
• Facilitate team development through mentorship, skill-building, and fostering cross-functional collaboration
• Design and deliver team training sessions and individual coaching on Agile practices, technical tools, and organizational standards

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I or higher
• Strong command of Scrum, Agile principles, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action.

DESIRED SKILLS 

• Experience using: Excel, Google Sheets, Slack
• Experience hands-on experience with programming languages such as: Python, SQL, C/C++/Java
• High speed Wi-Fi connection
• Be able to work in US timezone shifts (e.g., EST, CST, MST, or PST)
