A bit more about this role:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our  team. This remote role will focus primarily on user access management, computer setup and provisioning, equipment ordering, and IT inventory tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, familiar with IT systems and tools, and committed to delivering seamless support experiences to internal users. This role will also be responsible for IT security and maintenance of all IT support documentation.

 

You will work in an entrepreneurial environment where we are constantly looking to learn what our customers need and to develop better ways to serve them. 

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Very good command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • 2-3 years of relevant IT Support / Helpdesk (fulltime) work experience 
  • Availability to work full USA 8-hour shift (CST or PST)
  • Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action



Responsibilities will include (but not limited too):

Access Management

    • Provision and deprovision user access to systems and applications in accordance with security policies
    • Maintain and audit access logs, permissions, and identity lifecycle tracking
    • Coordinate with HR and management to manage onboarding and offboarding procedures
    • Respond to access-related support tickets and resolve permission issues

Computer Setup & User Support

    • Configure and deploy computers for new and existing employees
    • Perform software installations and configurations
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Equipment Ordering

    • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to source and purchase IT hardware and software
    • Track order statuses and ensure timely delivery of equipment

Inventory Management

    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and accessories
    • Tag, log, and track equipment assignments and returns
    • Conduct periodic audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies

Business Intelligence:

    • Assist in the design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
    • Assist in developing and maintaining Python scripts and applications for data processing, analysis, and automation

Desired skills & experience:

  • Experience  using Python and PowerBI is a plus
