A bit more about this role:

 

In this role, you will support the automation, development, maintenance, and optimization of our SAP ERP system. You’ll work closely with our Finance and IT team to process, clean, and transform large datasets, ensuring data integrity and availability for analytics and business decision-making. This position offers hands-on experience with cloud platforms, SQL databases, and ETL processes, providing a strong foundation for growth in data engineering. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and contribute to improving data workflows. As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn best practices in data handling, automation, and performance tuning while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Eligibility Requirements

• Finished Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fields preferred. Significant relevant experience can be substituted for formal education. 
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and eagerness to learn and work with them.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an SAP-IT support or business analyst role.
• Proven experience with Python and SQL as well as handling of REST API’s and ETL data flows.
• Understanding of fundamental accounting principles (double-entry system, accrual principle, etc.)
• Familiarity with architecture of key financial statements (P&L, BS, CF, aging reports)
• Strong communication skills and analytical thinking.
• Very good command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Availability to work full USA hour shift (EST, CST, MST, or PST)
• High speed Wi-Fi connection
• Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action.

 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Assist in configuring, extending and maintaining modules in our SAP EPR system.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to download, process and analysis of data.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP data interfaces.
• Reviewing data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Organizing and maintaining electronic records for a company’s databases.
• Assisting in creating reports and proposals to present findings to management.
• Address technical issues and provide IT support to ensure smooth business operations
