We are seeking a personable, dynamic & highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team in Berlin and run high-profile, exciting client accounts within our creative agency, Highsnobiety+. 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in flawless account management, with the ability to build solid client relationships and lead chunky and challenging projects across lifestyle, fashion and more. 

 

YOUR MISSION:

  • Account Leadership:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for your key client(s), ensuring clear and effective communication
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the client’s business, brand, and strategic objectives
    • (Co-)lead client meetings, presentations, and discussions, providing strategic guidance and insights
    • Stay in touch with current culture, trends, marketing, media, and brand landscapes to provide informed and relevant insights that enhance the client’s creative strategies and campaigns
  • Project Management 
    • Ownership of full project life cycle by planning, organizing, and managing client and internal projects and comms, from beginning to end
    • Build and monitor profitable project budgets, from pitch phase through to project extensions, and be responsible for financial reporting of each
    • Liaise with multiple departments and external service providers to provide clear and concise briefings, project development, and sharp communication (always!)
    • Drive, motivate and hold internal teams accountable to deliver high quality results
    • Steer projects and ensure on-brief, top quality deliverables
    • Own project timelines and make considered resourcing decisions
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Create and nurture strong, long-term relationships with the client, understanding their needs and anticipating future requirements
    • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by the client promptly and effectively
    • Regularly solicit client feedback to improve services and deliverables
    • Be the main person of contact for the client, as well as their first escalation point
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with the client to develop and implement strategic plans that align with their business goals
    • Identify opportunities for growth within the account and  propose new initiatives or services that can add value (project upselling)
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform client strategies
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular reports with your wider team on account performance, project progress, and key metrics to both the client and internal stakeholders.
    • Analyze project outcomes and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary

 

YOUR SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 5 years of account management experience, preferably within a creative/marketing/ad/PR agency or consulting company 
  • Proven record of successfully managing large, complex accounts and delivering outstanding client service
  • Solid understanding of the creative, production and talent sourcing process, including design, content creation, media production and talent casting and onboarding
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a team setting
  • In touch with culture, trends, marketing, media and brand landscapes
  • Fluency in English required
