Strategist, Buying & Curation (all genders)

We are seeking an Strategist, Buying & Curation to join our team in Berlin, within our creative agency, Highsnobiety+.
YOUR MISSION:
- Lead internal strategic development for one of our biggest e-commerce fashion clients's assortments with a focus on trend forecasting, brand positioning, and key category direction (e.g. Denim)
- Define inspiring, commercial assortments aligned with seasonal storytelling and consumer relevance
- Pitch to brands to unlock pinnacle and incremental assortment opportunities
- Provide strategic feedback and direction for high-priority brands
- Co-own the monthly strategic planning process for both incremental and organic launches
- Align with the client´s partners in buying reviews, preline meetings, and franchise theme planning to ensure platform cohesion and innovation
- Support brand onboarding through storytelling and curation pitches
- Oversee curated assortments across the Stories ecosystem, ensuring brand, trend, and aesthetic relevance
- Provide styling guidance and final sign-off on all curated assortments
- Lead strategy and creative input for SMU and exclusive product capsules
- Conduct archive tours and heritage research with brands to inspire original product stories
- Collaborate with Key Brand Partners to Create and develop matchmaking and product-specific briefs
- Deliver footwear-specific strategies
YOUR SKILLS:
- At least 4 years of experience in similar roles, for example within a fashion retailer or platform
- Strategic Thinking: Able to translate macro trends and consumer insights into commercial strategies
- Trend Forecasting Expertise: Deep understanding of fashion trends, brand positioning, and consumer behaviour
- Assortment & Merchandising: Proven ability to create cohesive assortments balancing creativity and business goals
- Communication & Persuasion: Skilled in pitching to brands and stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the fashion ecosystem, seasonal calendars, and competitive landscape
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
