About Syllo

Syllo is defining the Litigation AI category. We are the first unified platform designed to autonomously manage the entire litigation lifecycle end-to-end. Founded in 2019 by a team of litigators and engineers, Syllo enables legal teams to securely harness the power of AI across any matter, regardless of complexity or scale. Our technology supports Fortune 500 companies and AmLaw 200 firms managing their most complex litigation portfolios. Awarded ILTA Transformative Project of the Year and ALM eDiscovery Technology of the Year for 2026, we are the market leader in enterprise-grade litigation AI. Backed by top-tier VCs, we are at a clear inflection point — the team has doubled in the last six months and growth is accelerating.

About the role

Define the category, own the pipeline, and build the brand that makes Syllo the default choice in Litigation AI.

This role leads Syllo's marketing function — responsible for category positioning, demand generation, brand, content, and the pipeline contribution that fuels the enterprise sales motion. You will build the team, set the strategy, and own the metrics that connect marketing investment to revenue outcomes. You report to the CEO and work directly with the heads of Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

Syllo is at the moment that matters in category creation. We have product-market fit, award recognition, and a referenceable customer base. What we need now is a marketing leader who can translate that into a repeatable demand engine, a distinct brand voice, and the thought leadership presence that makes Syllo the platform legal professionals think of first.

We are looking for a VP who builds marketing organizations that generate pipeline — not vanity metrics — and who understands that in a professional services market, credibility is the most valuable asset. You have marketed to sophisticated buyers before. You know that legal audiences do not respond to hype, and you build campaigns that respect that.

What you will do

  • Own pipeline contribution: Define and deliver the marketing-sourced pipeline target. Every program maps to a revenue outcome — if it does not, it does not run.
  • Build and lead the marketing team: Hire and develop a team across demand generation, content, brand, and design. Set the standard and the structure.
  • Define category positioning: Own Syllo's market narrative — how we define Litigation AI, how we differentiate from adjacent categories, and what we want legal professionals to believe about the future of their work.
  • Drive demand generation: Build the multi-channel pipeline engine — content, events, paid, partnerships, and ABM — calibrated for an enterprise legal buyer with a long decision cycle.
  • Own brand and thought leadership: Develop the brand voice, visual identity standards, and executive thought leadership program that builds Syllo's authority in the legal market.
  • Partner with Sales and Product: Align messaging with what works in the field, equip the sales team with materials they actually use, and translate product development into market-facing narrative.
  • Operate with rigor: Maintain accurate marketing attribution, pipeline reporting, and budget management. The CEO should always know where the pipeline is coming from.

What you bring

  • Enterprise B2B marketing leadership: You have built and led marketing teams at high-growth SaaS companies targeting sophisticated, long-cycle enterprise buyers — with demonstrated pipeline contribution.
  • Category creation instinct: You understand the difference between positioning within a category and defining one. You have done the latter, or have the judgment to do it for the first time.
  • Legal or professional services market experience: You know how to earn credibility with attorneys and legal operations professionals — audiences that are skeptical of vendor marketing by default.
  • Demand generation depth: You have built multi-channel demand programs that generate qualified pipeline, not just leads. You understand ABM, content-led growth, and event strategy in an enterprise context.
  • Brand and narrative fluency: You write and edit at a high level. The marketing that comes from your team sounds like it was written for a smart, skeptical reader — because it was.
  • Analytical discipline: You build marketing measurement frameworks that connect spend to pipeline to revenue. You report on outcomes, not activity.
  • Team building: You have hired and developed marketing talent across multiple disciplines — content, demand gen, design, and ops. You know what good looks like in each.

Experience and qualifications

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing, including 3+ years in a VP or Director-level leadership role at a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated ownership of pipeline contribution targets with documented performance outcomes.
  • Experience marketing to legal, compliance, or enterprise professional services buyers is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency with marketing technology stack: HubSpot or Marketo, Salesforce, ABM platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA is a plus.
