IT Enterprise Application Development and Support Director (Hybrid)

Summary

As Enterprise Application Development and Support Director you are responsible for managing the Web and ERP Platforms to ensure quality and efficient delivery and support.  This position helps create value for members and leaders in our Toastmasters programs, as well as value for the business stakeholders (MarCom, Finance, and Customer Service).   Responsible for managing IT solutions, development, budget, team leadership and cross-functional collaboration, risk management/mitigation of the Enterprise applications, API’s, environment planning, vendor management, data management and reporting platform, and supporting production. We are seeking someone who is well versed in leading through influence, building relationships, gaining trust, creating, and driving process improvements. Manage a budget with fiscal responsibility and deliver on time. This position is expected to have a key role in setting the strategy and influencing the roadmap for the company. 

Description

  • Lead the solutioning and development of Sitecore web platform and API’s.
  • Lead the solutioning and development of MS Dynamics CE and F&O platform including integration with logistic partners and taxation
  • Continuous development of staff and mentoring to have future leaders
  • Ensure transparency and consistency in how they engage with stakeholders and the team.
  • Ability to build consensus and broker compromise between stakeholders with the support of product manager.
  • Employ design thinking and hypothesis-driven development techniques to promote innovation.
  • Be “servant leader” by viewing their success as the success of users and the team.
  • Provide profound technical advice and establish relationships with the business stakeholders to be recognized as their trusted advisor
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the organization in collaboration with members of the leadership team.
  • Supports the mission, goals, objectives, and values of the organization.
  • Partner with Stakeholders using leadership and collaboration
  • Identify and apply new technology, including AI

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have in-depth experience in development, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Web Platforms, preferably Sitecore.
  • Must have ability to implement and deliver web solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Web technology issue diagnosing, troubleshooting and strategy.
  • Experience setting and managing customer/partner experience and expectations.
  • Proven success in implementing and/or transforming ERP/CRM platforms
  • Ability to support and lead finance business in areas that like taxation and logistics
  • Experience with integration of web to back-office platforms
  • Experience with best practices for implementations using Agile framework like SCRUM/Kanban/hybrid and using tools like Azure DevOps
  • Experience with data management teams – continuous improvements of ETL, database structures, and ability to define future roadmaps
  • Experience in managing contracts, vendors and external consultants.
  • Experience leading UX design teams
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to produce results consistently and efficiently.
  • Demonstrable experience with architectural principles.
  • Leadership capabilities to work effectively cross-functionally and drive teams to success
  • Ability to guide teams to find solutions and solve problems in projects that delivers a win-win
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Embrace and have started using AI to gain efficiencies, use cases to automate, build software with vendors and AI
  • Deliver Quality & Velocity: Take a leadership role in ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of products across the full application lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Four+ years experience at a Sr. Manager/Director level
  • Eight years of experience in enterprise business solution development and delivery
  • Five years of experience in managing Web Platforms
  • Experience in managing ERP Platforms
  • Experience with transforming ERP Platforms – either CRM or Finance Ops
  • Experience with managing environments and data refreshes
  • Experience leading offshore development teams and show success
  • Successfully building application strategy and execution is important
  • Experience with managing data management teams including strategy to evolve the data and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage and grow teams to be high performing

Pay Range

$185,000 - $225,000 USD

You must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home. Work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (typically 3 per week) in our office at 9127 S. Jamaica St., Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
