Senior Accountant
Together AI is looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to help shape the future of the department by building scalable and reliable accounting processes and enhancing financial reporting for operational and business analytics to drive Company decisions. This position will report to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for leading our general accounting functions, growing and scaling our revenue recognition and collections process, managing accounts payable, and future audit and statutory support. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience; mix of Big 4 and industry experience strongly preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Breadth of experience in US GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance, and ASC 842 lease accounting
- Highly detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, resourceful and proactive
- Must have a strong work ethic and be able to meet tight critical deadlines
- Proven ability to foster proactive and collaborative working relationships across functions in the organization
- Demonstrated success leading a team with track record of developing high performance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in composing concise, accurate and appropriately targeted responses
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines
- Experience identifying and developing process and internal control improvements
- Ability to deal effectively with all employees, external business contacts and customers while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities
- Be the lead in month-end close processes, including project management of close timing, managing journal entries, accruals and month-end account reconciliations within the close timeline.
- Assist in the design, scaling, and growth of our revenue accounting, including revenue recognition and accounts receivable.
- Manage the accounts payable function, including review of expense coding and vendor payments.
- Act as key liaison for future external audits and due diligence process by preparing schedules, locating supporting documents, and responding to inquiries.
- Lead and/or manage accounting projects and other process improvements for the accounting and finance function.
- Participate in ERP system scoping, testing, implementation and migration.
- Identify and provide guidance on accounting implications of business initiatives to operational business leaders.
- Be a trusted business partner and work closely with external teams and contribute to other departments’ goals and duties as needed.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance and other competitive benefits. The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $105,000 - $125,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by location, level and role. Individual compensation will be determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
